Vintage Fairmont's 5 LB Process Cheese Wooden Box American Cheese Advertising

Authentic vintage Fairmont's Better Process Cheese wooden box, originally used as packaging for a 5 lb block of processed American cheese distributed by The Fairmont Creamery Co., established in 1884. The front retains strong original advertising including Fairmont's Better Process Cheese, Fairmont Creamery Co. U.S.A., and references to butter, eggs, cheese and poultry.  Constructed of thin wood panels with original nailed/stapled construction and a naturally aged patina. Measures approximately 12 long × 4 high, closely matching documented 5 lb Fairmont cheese boxes.  Vintage condition with expected wear, staining, scratches, edge wear and surface marks from age and use. No lid present. Graphics remain nicely legible.
